Court-Ordered DUI Classes by State

DUI/DWI class rules are set state by state — the program name, the number of hours, and whether you can take it online or must attend in person all change depending on where your case is. Pick your state to see how it works and where to find a class your court will accept.

"In person near me" vs. online: some states (like California) require an in-person, state-licensed class and don't accept a self-paced online DUI program; a few (like Texas) accept an approved online class for many cases. Each state page links you to the official approved-provider list — the one your court is most likely to accept.

In person vs. online, at a glance

StateProgramIn person or online?

California Driving-Under-the-Influence (DUI) Program Mostly in-person
Florida DUI Program (DUI school) In-person only

"In person or online" is a quick summary only — acceptance depends on your court, offense level, and the provider. Always confirm with your court and the state licensing agency before you enroll or pay.
