Colorado DUI Classes: Level I Education, Level II Education, and Level II Therapy
Colorado DUI and DWAI classes come in levels. Level I is 12 hours. Level II Education is 24 hours over at least 12 weeks. Level II Therapy adds 42 to 86 hours depending on your track. Every program must be licensed by the Behavioral Health Administration, and the rules allow in-person or telehealth delivery.

The court assigns your level, and a BHA-licensed provider delivers it. Level I is 12 hours and only fits lower-level cases. Level II Education is 24 hours over 12+ weeks. Level II Therapy runs from Track A (42 hours, 21+ weeks) to Track D (86 hours, 43+ weeks). Telehealth is allowed by rule. Finish with a DRS form for the DMV.

Level II Therapy tracks
The BHA rules (2 CCR 502-1, part 10.8) define the four standard tracks by number of offenses and whether your BAC was at or above the statutory "persistent drunk driver" (PDD) level, or you refused testing:

A few rules shape how long this really takes. No more than two clinical contact hours count per week. Make-up sessions for missed treatment are not allowed. Group sessions must be at least two hours of therapeutic contact, with no more than 12 people. Treatment normally starts only after Level II Education is done. The BHA also says education and therapy must begin after the date of your most recent violation.
Online (telehealth) is allowed by rule. The BHA rules say Level I Education, Level II Therapeutic Education, and Level II Treatment may be completed in person or by telehealth. The provider still has to be BHA-licensed for DUI/DWAI services, and your court or probation officer can set conditions for your case. Court requirements vs DMV requirements
The BHA notes that court and DMV requirements can be different. For the DMV, Level II means both Level II Education and Level II Therapy. Your proof of completion is the DUI/DWAI Referral Summary (DRS form). The provider should give it to you free within 10 business days, and you submit it through myDMV, by email, or in person. The same statewide rules apply in every county. Whether your DUI or DWAI case is in Jefferson County, Denver, or anywhere else in Colorado, the court sets the level and the program must be BHA-licensed. Your probation officer can tell you which level your order names.
